KS2 Play Leaders Training聽Event
On Tuesday 24th October we took our Year聽9 sports leaders to support a playleaders training event聽for primary pupils in years 5/6. Playleaders is leadership training for primary pupils so they can go back into their schools and lead lunchtime activities.
Our students helped to run events throughout the day including invasion, net/wall, creativity and communication games. They showed fantastic leadership and communication skills. They quickly built great rapports with the young pupils, evidenced by the increased levels of engagement and huge smiles on their faces.
Our Y9 leaders received some great feedback, with staff describing them as ‘Amazing’ and ‘A huge credit to the school’. It was a fantastic day and all students involved should be very proud of themselves, because we sure are! Well done!
