Student publication success in Creative Writing Competition
During lockdown, Mrs Hill shared a creative writing competition with students at 58影视. The competition from Young Writers challenged students aged 11-18 to create a 100-word mini saga with the title 鈥楳issing鈥�.
Young Writers received in excess of 6,500 entries and this week we received the fantastic news that three of our students鈥� entries have been chosen for publication in the SOS Sagas: Missing 鈥� UK Tales. A huge聽congratulations聽to Sam Webb (Year 13), Molly Turner (Year 11) and Louise Wellsbury-Howells (Year 10).
With all that is going on, good news like this is most certainly welcome. We at 58影视 send our聽congratulations聽to all three students; we hope having work published gives them and others the confidence and encouragement to continue to be creative.
